At Juan Dolio, at about an hour from the capital Santo Domingo, have place the tourist complex Albatros: an ideal position to visit the most famous tourist places of the south-east cost of the Dominican Republic, as Boca Chica, La Romana, Altos de Chavón and the beaches of Punta Cana and the Bavaro.

The location of the Residence allow you to know the real Dominican way of life too, thanks to the proximity to the typical restaurants and pubs and to the contact with the involving kindness of the people of the place.

The Residence Albatros Club Resort faces the crystalline water of the Caribbean Sea and it has an equipped beach rounded by cliffs of volcanic rocks; the access to the sea is reachable with a pleasant walk along the coast for about 700 metres to west. The Residence has an open-air swimming pool and a whirlpool.

The Dominican Republic is a famous tourist destination all over the world and for this reason it is well linked with other Countries. In the South side of the island there are three international airports: that of Santo Domingo (Las Americas), that of Punta Cana, and the recently opened airport of La Romana.

To reach the Residence the nearest airports are that of Las Americas, which is about 35 km away, and that of La Romana, which is about 65 km away, whereas that of Punta Cana is about 180 km far from the Residence. The best way of connection from the airports to the Residence is by taxi.

A journey in the Dominican Republic allow you to find the summer all the year long thanks to the tropical climate, with temperature that varies between the 17 degrees and the 35 degrees centigrade. The official language of the island is Spanish, but generally people employed in tourist services can also speak English and Italian.
